they look old school , but from a looks point of view, i wish they would make the faceplate for the tweeter a little more special, no doubt it/they will be expensive.

Time for the recreation of the Dyna A25? The big bucks version.

Looks like the more XO will be needed

Yeah, the wood phase plug is ugly, real ugly. Especially since a metal phase plug has the added benefit of increasing voice coil cooling. Maybe they could not get the magnetics to work well with a metal phase plug?

Not my cup of tea.

I really hoped to see something else when opened this thread. The tweeter seems nice, might sound nice and clip different but the woofer has a nasty break-up for a pape cone... Oh well..

I don't understand why nobody aplies tehniques used in widerange design (supravox, lowther, phy-hp, fostex) and make a nice, linear, well behaved and well controlled break-up midrange/woofer/ whatever...

Audax have just re-released a comparable tweeter for 90€, so maybe this "big buck" driver comes a bit too late.

If you want a pair you have to pay about 1600 USD Norwegian prize for the W8 Woofer
