Moved to Loudspeakers.
Yes and yes. Not your best option usually, what do you have in mind? |

Many have, me included. The problem is they sound best in a car environment. If you are going to put them up on a shelf in the garage or something fine but go another route if you are planning to use speakers indoors.

Hello lejaybo, They don't make them anymore, but Vifa did make a small coaxial at one point, the A10CC-07. I haven't gotten to using them yet, but I do have a pair, in cabs now, just need the crossover components. Here's a link to one company in the USA that carries surplus ones.
http://www.apexjr.com/speakerstuff.html Peace, Dave P.S. I'm sure there are others, just don't know of them. You could also try making a bracket to hold a tweeter over the mid/woof, thus making your own coaxial. |

Yeah, so? I used it merely as an example since no one seems to be using co-ax units any more.

Hi lejaybo
Tannoy still make small co-axial speakers in their in-wall and in-ceiling models. Have a look at the TS parameters to see if they could help. However, small and low is always a difficult target. Cheers Graeme |
