I have a simple question in my head that continues to plague me... if a line array and a MMT both use multiple drivers producing the same frequencies, why would one be judged acceptable, and not the other?

I am not certain I understand your question, but if you think a MMT i acceptable your wrong on that part, and one reason why MTM is often used, which though have its own flaws and difficulties
What you refer to is probably at WWT, where a 2.5way is widely used, so that only one driver play midrange, but both still playing bass...its a really a neat trick that have many possibilities and may solve several problems, but I admit I have never tried it, but I will soon |
