I have a mint pair of Lineam LX5s, and while their high end is amazing, the lower octaves leaves a little to be desired. I've stuffed the ports with straws as suggested by others and that helped somewhat. I'm wondeing if anyone has upgraded the LF driver in these puppies? It's a 5 inch polyproprolene job and looks pretty cheaply made.
What did you use and how were the results? |

No offense;
but there isn't anything I would recommend to replace them with, but a small 8inch sub with a plate amp as a 3-way would work reasonably well and is probably the most cost effective option

Hi,
Slightly OT. Are the Radio Shacks Lineaum equivilant to the originals ? I've a pair that I bought from A & S a long time ago. I've heard that it's different in terms of sensitivity. |
