Default Quick Speaker Question

I have a chance to pick up some speakers at a good price. Either a pair of Peerless HDS164's (850439) or a pair of Peerless CSX176's (850122). Any opinions either way from people who have used them, played with them, heard them, or at least have an opinion one way or the other about them? I don't know what I will do with them yet, besides make some boxes and stick em' in there. They seem, not the same, but fairly similar, I may be comparing Granny Smiths to Pink Ladys...apple people will get that one.

I am thinking something resembling these:

but I don't know about the guts, big open vented boxes are easy, but transmission lines seem fun too... that or a huge refrigerator box with a hole cut in it. I am not to pleased about the sensitivity being a tube person, especially since the other project I have on the burner (way back on the burner) is a single driver Fostex FE206 rear loaded horn that will play nicely with a single 45. Maybe I will have to tackle that First Watt F5 for a little more drive...

I ramble...any and all comments are welcome, and as always happy listening!

Cheers

James
