I'm wondering, can I coat the cone on this driver: http://www.madisound.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=8476
To induce a lower high frequency roll off without loosing any of it's top end smoothness? Basically, a mechanical crossover instead of electronic. The heavier the moving mass is, the less HF output... Would be a kind of expensive experiment I guess. |

There's a lot of things that happen to a speaker when you increase Mms
Lower HF roll-off would be the least of your worries. |
