The same thing holds true in the car audio environment.
If the port of a subwoofer is too close to the inside wall of the vehicle (and parallel with it) it will load off the wall and mess up the tuning of the box. KevinLee |

Ok, I read the link, and slot loading is not as drastic as I had first thought (i read "yep having the duct against the wall of the box causes it to be 1/2 the distance across the duct,shorter"
but i thought "1/2 the length shorter"). -andy |
