I've been taking apart my z-5300 speakers for about a week now, it's been a learning experience. I am trying to power them up without the remote. Anyway, I looked up one of the chips on the board and found it to be NJW1150, a 6-channel electronic volume circuit. Unfortunately, about half way in, page 10/18, it says "On power up, the master volume mute is activated". Could someone tell me how to switch the mute off? Thanks.
