Default Free parts Sony TL series spekaers - worth the trouble?

I'm still waiting to hear back about the specific model number, but I was wondering if it was worth the trouble of picking up and finding space for a pair of Sony transmission line speakers that need new woofers (or at least repair to the existing ones). Will they be worth the trouble of fixing up? I know most Sony speakers aren't so hot, but doing a bit of googling it looks like some of the TL models are decent.

It looks like they're pretty efficient, too, whi9ch would be ncie down the road when I build an SE amp.
