Default Help with Tweeter Inductor value for 2nd order L/riley

I am using a 2nd order x-over similar to the madisound design here. http://www.madisound.com/catalog/PDF/H1350-H1189.pdf
I am using the same drive units. However I need to know the effect of raising or lowering the tweeter inductor. would a higher value (0.7mh) make the sound thinner/sweeter or more course/rough than a lower value of say (0.3mh) I made my own air cored inductors approx value of 0.4mh but I am losing too much life in the treble. If I remove it completely, it sounds to rough/edgy although all the life and detail comes back. I had nothing too measure my home made inductors (only the design calculation which I stuck to closely) so the value may not be what I intended, so have decided to purchase some good quality air cored but need a value. I prefer a sweeter sound to a more course full treble.

Try a resistor in series with tweeter inductor...resistor to ground
I dont think your inductor is a problem, unless its far from the shown size
Try adjustments to the resistor(bigger?) on the paralel capacitor on woofer
Try adjustments to tweeter padding resistors...50ohm seems a lot

On your actual xo layout its a good thing to have seperate ground wires from terminals to each driver(xo), just use solid core

Without listening to your speaker its impossible to suggest anything conclusive
If you focus too much on creating a certain sound theres a very big risk of running into severe phase problems

If you want real smooth sound you may need a notch filter on woofer, together with adjustments on the series inductor...maybe

btw, try reversed polarity on tweeter...I think it should be
