Eton Empire with AMT and "ceramic" housing

Here I will present bit by bit my almost finished new loudspeakers.
They are based on the Intertechnik Eton Empire satelite speakers. The bass-department will follow later.

What is special about my implementation is the use of ceramic tiles on the inside of the MDF housing.

They weigh about 45 Kg a piece.

And yes, they are really dead! No reseonances at al...

This does inflict the sound; less "warmth" because of absence of colouring thruogh housing-resonance. This must then be compensated by the filtering. Yet, the truefull midrange is worth all the trouble.
