I'd like to build Tony Gee's HATT-SE as my first speaker project. The woofer W12CY001 (E0021), is available from Madisound. However, I cannot find the tweeter for the project; 27TAFC/G (H0883). According to the Seas website, it doesn't say anything about it being out of production. Could someone point me to a place to find it, or if its not available, recommend a replacement. A replacement tweeter that wouldn't require drastic changes to the crossover would be helpful, I'm basically clueless with driver specs and speaker design in general.
Thanks, John Tony Gee's HATT-SE |
