Default High pass shelf network

I am intersted in constructing a HP shelving filter for a tweeter/compression driver section.
Is there someone who can provide the math for calculating such a network?

Wayne Parham has produced these values: http://www.audioroundtable.com/PiSpe...ages/1278.html

However, I am more interested in how one arrives at these values.

More good material from Pi Speakers here: http://www.pispeakers.com/Speaker_Crossover_Lab.doc
