Ok Java man
The MCM and TB are of a equal sound out put. That is the point.
For the money the MCM is a better USD deal over the TB.
But both need a high excursion PR with a stiff compliance.
And I have looked high and low and talked Bob at CSS into bring the RCM in for the sole reason of the 8" subs from TB and MCM.
There is not a sub out on the market that will do what these 8" driver require.
As of today.

The Quatro I will have ina week at the latest. But even talking with Darren K from PE the other day on these he even says that the Quatro is not going to tune as low as the TB and MCM.
But just will be a good small 8" driver that will take a lot of power and stay around 40hz.

All of the TB and MCM tests were done in a 1cft cabinet .
sealed, then ported, then a single and then Twin PR was added.

End result .
They need a boost in around 35hz.The small PE amp or Solen SUB 100 from CSS is the same as the PE just no reamovable cord. And a open back to a sealed case as the PE.
Other than that same out put out of the both amps.

These 8" drivers also need the PR sealed just will not go that low.
40hz is about it.
Ported well you need a port 2x24" long and still get port noise out of them.
So a PR fits in easy in the 12x12x12 cube with these 8' drivers gets down in the 20hz range and does not bottom out the drivers.

Now a twin RCM and these things will punch like you would not even believe possible for a 8" driver.

Hope this answers your question.
