I have serious doubts about the "waveguide" on the 12" driver doing much of anything. I have had the urge to try and find out just what it will do however, but it takes a lot of space for something that may not yield that much improvement.
Yeah I agree, it doesn't look like much of a waveguide on the 12". More likely it's an effort to get the acoustic centers aligned to make crossover design easier.
