A friend of mine had coaxed me into building a set of speakers for him, as he is absolutely inept with tools. He designed them largley, I suggested woofers I thought sounded good, and he had decided to use Hiquphon OWI tweeters. I was totally blown away with the awesome sound coming out of these tweeters. They're reasonably priced (paid $75 US each) and sound absolutely enchanting, at least to my ears. They have rather wide frequency range as well, which makes crossovers simple and transients sound phenomenal. I would grade these tweeters favourably with much more expensive tweeters. Has anyone else used these tweeters before? How could I have missed these jewels? |
