Is AUDAX come back ?

Hi,

I have heard news about the return of audax. Seems AAC is producing
some of the "old" audax models. Do you have some news of confirmation about it?

I am interested in ex prestige series , the HDA line of midwoofers

Hi Paolo,

Audax speakers are available again for several years now. They can be purchased at Proraum Vertrieb (germany).

Thanks, are they new production by AAC or NOS ?
I have see new AAC at www.meniscusaudio.com.

Like kceenav said, the company formerly known as Audax is independent from the Harmann group and for several years supplying Proraum in Germany. Somewhere this year the new AAC company was announced at the old Audax website. http://www.aac.fr / isn't very complete yet (the english part is missing, no product information).

This do not clarify too much the scenario. Italian distributor have said to me they start new production70-80% of the old audax models but I am a bit skeptical and I do not have seen DIYer talking about that news.
Maybe time is necessary too see.........
