Hi,
My setup consists of a Dynaco PSA-2 Clone pre and a power after the Claus Byrith 5-30. I found a couple of Bose 901 series VI at a bargain price. Will they be suitable for my setup. And will the Equalizer circuitry change the tube sound? Thanx |

Tube amps are generally power limited. The 901's require a lot of power to make them sing. I mean LOTS. 250 WPC min.
They also require careful set up to get them to function as disigned. So, if you can get a similar bargain on some high power SS amps and have the time and patience, they are well worth the effort. |
