Default Linaeum Speakers on eBay-any good?

Just saw these Linaeum speakers on ebay.

Wondering are these a decent sounding set of speakers?

I love my ProLX5's dearly, but would like a set of full range...

Default can you listen to them ?

If I remember correctly, they were not cheap.
Not many were sold also..........
As in it very expensive for a 2 way with 6.5" woofer compare to radio shack's clone that sold more, often recommended, and some tweaking upon the smaller 2 ways.

I had a few of the rat shack ribbons and loved them, until they just stop making noise. No ksccht, ksccht like a damaged dome.

I was told that the foil would open up, or the trace, or even the cap. I had about 4 of them, 2 mysteriously stopped playing and the other 2 lost. And I tossed the bum ones years ago.

Remember, you are buying a product with zero replacement. If the tweet or mid blows, you are sol.

Otherwise I liked that tweeter very much, the lineaum was supposed to be better but I do not know if this was actually true.
Perhaps an active crossover would work better.

Compared to your prolx, I'd imagine they go a bit deeper and maybe the ribbon is better.
