Have old (7ish yr) mission speakers. Cant find a place in nj to do the repair. On the power board (where speaker wire comes in) a component came off both speakers.
Its a copper coil wrapped around a permanent magnent. One free end is tinned so I assume its supposed to be soldered onto the circuit board. No idea where. So any plans, guesses pics, or other suggestions (including places in nj to get them fixed) would be appreciated. I found a place in Ca to fix em for 40, but I figure it will cost me 60+ to probably ship them thanks |

Hi,
It is an inductor. Post pics of both sides of the board. Should be easy. |
