Vifa XG18 / Seas 27TDFC MTM

I built this zaph design and love them, unfortunately, the kids love them as well and I committed to building a few more sets. I bought the materials for crossovers and cabinets and got caught when Vifa stopped making the XG18.

I am trying to salvage the materials I already have and am looking at trying the Vifa XT18 as a substitute in the design.

Anyone have an idea of big a disaster that may be?

I don't think any midwoofer can replace the XG18 without complete crossover redesign.

Oh, I missed the XT18 part in your post. Yes, I think you can use the XT18 instead of XG18. Maybe a small change in FR, but won't be very much noticeable.
