I am thinking about spending a bit. There was mention somewhere of combining a 704, Great Plains I think, with a woofer to handle the real low bass. Is this a good idea. Does anybody have any experience of the smaller 12" with the single magnet which I would also consider to use in this manner. The 704 or 12" would probably be used open baffle if possible and either a cheaper ripole type or an altec sub in a box used below it. Any suggestions.
I think something similar was discussed about six weeks ago but a search failed to turn it up. jamikl |
