Hi
I am finishing a line array with Fountek Neopro5i's. They have binding posts internally so they look like they are designed for a banana, spade or bare wire non-soldered connection inside the speaker. Just like you would wire externally. Do you think there will be any problems just cranking down a bare wire connection inside the speaker? I don't want it to come loose. The mid ranges are Seas mag cones. I plan on using the disconnects there unsoldered also. I can't imagine those disconnect "sleeves" coming loose. What do you think? |

Hi,
Tin the bare wire with solder, form a round shape and clamp with the post. |

If you're real paranoid, put some locktite 271 on the threads of the binding post.
