Default Need advise on speaker build

Looking for advice? I have a pair of IPL acoustic ribbons which are now a bit to toppy since amp upgrade. I have brought down the value of the tweeter cap which has helped a lot, but still grates a bit. I now want to do another speaker build. Looking for medium sized, 2 way floor standing which is not forward in the upper frequencies and in the 87 or up wards db. I thought about doing the Proac 2.5 clone, but it seems this speaker can bit a bit revealing and also not that sensitive. I want to go a bit higher end then the IPL, and have a budget of around £750. Can anybody recommend a build? I do not need to go full kit as I can get panels cut to size and holes made for drives; I have built from scratch before.
Thanks

To my ears, this is the best speaker I've ever made - and the biggest!
