Tangband plus Gainclone

Anyone have any experience (good or bad) with running tangband based designs (871's or really anything similar) off a gainclone?

I've got a gainclone setup sitting here about half done (no ps section yet) from several months ago, and I've been reading everything I can get my hands on regarding tangband designs and I figured I might be able to combine the two for a 2 channel setup for my office.

Thanks in advance for any experiences or direction y'all can provide.

Maybe this will make me sound inexperienced, but I have no idea what that other brand name you mentioned besides Tang Band is, or what they even are.

thanks for the link , I killed an evening catching up on
gainclones.
last we (basslist) had left thorston he was abandoning his watt-clones and and becoming an acolyte of horns, filaments and such.
fascinating that he is now the prophet of opamps!
