Hi everyone,
I have madisound loki speakers: http://www.madisound.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=1688 Here is the crossover: http://cb1234.free.fr/Xover.pdf There is, on the intertechnik catalog, another speaker that uses the same driver: (download can be long, file is 1.6 MB) http://cb1234.free.fr/itecubus_kt6_2.pdf Here is the crossover: http://cb1234.free.fr/H1144.jpg Does this crossover has a chance to work in my speakers ? is in interresting to try it ? Not enough info, I doubt that the drivers are exactly equvalent.
Compare their im]edance plots & FR response around the crossover frequency. The two crossovers are of a different order so will sound different...

The intertechnik speaker use the H1144, the loki uses now the H1333 but was avaliable before with the H1144 with the same crossover.
As for the technical parameters, I don't have the skills to understand them.. |

are you dissatisfied with the sound as they are now?
if no, spend your money on more music...

I was wondering if the intertechnik crossover doesn't give more efficiency, and so more dynamics ....
I like the sound of the loki but am not completely satisfied with it, the high medium could be more "there".. Anyway, I had some of the components for the it crossover and spent the 15 Eur to have the ones that were missing, so I will try it ... But you're right, the money spent here doesn't go to music, but it's a small investment, will see if it worths it. |
