Default Dayton Crossovers

I'm seeking a 3 way (passive) XO to work with a new system config..using Dynaudio D28-2 tweets....Morel EM1308 mids and a Radford (KEF like) TL bass. I received a quote from a known quality vendor.in Canada..Design and fab...nearly $400.00! (pair). I'm sure they are good..BUT....
Tonight I saw from Parts Express Dayton OEM factory set XO's The 700Hz; 5.6KHz unit should be fine (on paper).
Has anyone used these Dayton XO's ? I read where their tweeter was well reviewed as a good value. I really don't want to spend $400. for an XO The radford XO is a hi quality unit...only it crosses at 500Hz to the mid....a tad low for my application.
Any experience or comments on the Dayton XO's appreciated.

Standard crossovers are not very good solutions to hifi. You're much better off building a properly designed speaker, like those at www.zaphaudio.com

Whether you design a crossover yourself or get someone to design it for you, make sure that it is IN-ENCLOSURE impedance and SPL curves for your drivers that are used to design the crossover. These curves are ideally *measured* in the actual enclosure, but you can get excellent results even if they are *simulated* in the target enclosure. This is why off-the-shelf crossovers are not such a good idea, because they make no assumptions about the enclosure.
