Acoustat Speakers

Hi,
I’m in the market for a new set of surround speakers and I think I know what I want but I’m not sure of the quality of the speakers and I’m not sure about the brand. I have a Yamaha receiver that produces 110w per channel (X7). I can get a set of Acoustat Z22 for my front speakers and for the surrounds the Acoustat S2006 and centre an Acoustat C2006. Can any one let me more about these speakers? I can get all for about £ 900.00 which does look like a real good deal. They are brand new.

Hi chattie and welcome to the forums. Hopefully someone will be able to answer but keep in mind this is a DIY site so you might get people suggesting you build your own.

Hi,

Acoustat historically have a good reputation as excellent speakers.

Information on these chinese models is very scarce, but they do
appear to be good value, if they are built to good standards.

Much like Mageneplanar - if a direct source approach is used,
then review wise etc. they tend to be ignored by magazines.
