The woofer cap (56mfd) is the priciest piece in my 3-way X-over design. Will much be sacrificed by using non-polarized electrolitic here?
The mid/tweeter are using better grade caps(Dayton) and chokes... |

I would use at least a polypropylene/film cap for the woofer shunt capacitor.....And if you really want to speed up the woofer and make it more precise, try bypassing it with a 1uF film/foil cap............
