just to show you guys how my HT room
and my new house is progressing at the same time .. My setup will be an infinite baffle for the subwoofer, wich you can see the wooden " bucks" wich are in the front wall of the room there shall be 16 15" units dispesred based on the front wall/mirrored formula aka infinite plane design is based on DBArray without the double ![]() well ..i thought about it after reading on the DBA design The walls are all in ICF ( isolated concrete.. ) 2" of foam- 8" concrete- 2" of foam all around ..even in the back of the enclosure i've used a double wall to make the back of the sub unit, wich the moves the air under a planned staircase and into the garage wich is the real enclosure ( the pass is more like a port with that total VAS )exits with around 18square foot of area into the garage wich is roughly 6000 cubic feet there will be a 1ft raised floor at the approximate half of the room to the end , for the back row of seats i want to use that raised floor as a "bass-trap" using some openings at the rear end of the room should also have 1-2ft thick of deadening material at the end of the room i will need help from you fellow on desining that part of the system ..i want as much as bass as possible to be absorbed/diminished at the end of the room i'll do a quick sketch of what i need you guys to work on with me later ..maybe next week if i have some time pouring concrete this week |
