Does anybody have a good reference for the equations of ideal filter responses? I have been playing with Laplace transforms and getting a bit "wrapped around the axle" when it comes to higher order filters.
What I'm looking for is a response equation for say first through 4th order filters of an input "Q" and input "Fo". My goal is to generate some ideal response files which I could read into my measurement software package and over-plot the ideal response I'm aiming for on top of the actual speaker response.
Rather than be spoon fed the answers, an accessible book which can explain how to derive those equations would also be great. But I'm not opposed to a spoon feeding.
