Default Glass or carbon laminate horns

Hello all, I have found a local manufacturer, who would be able to make just about any circular horn you can imagine (he manufactures model airplanes - and some really big models). Today, he told me, that if he was going to build something to get some good price, he would have to make at least a small series of say 20 pieces. He is able to use glass and carbon laminate and for bigger series even acryl - in the same way bathtubs are made.

There are some questions, though.

First is, which kind of horns would have the most appeal to fulfill the minimum order. And what price would you be willing to pay for that (+plus postage / customs). There would be no customs inside EU.

Second is - how thick/rigid should the horns be? Plane models must be light but durable...how is it with the horns?

He also says he is able to do custom work as well - but the price will reflect that. However, custom colour of the "standard hord" would present just very small fee for the pigment. Should there be enough interest in this, he would probably make a sample for measurements - but that depends.
