Zaph ZD5: Centre version?

Hi,

Just throwing around a couple of ideas:

Can a centre version be done using the existing ZD5 design? By creating a second enclosure only with the mid/woofer using the existing crossover (From box1) and joining the two boxes together?

Just use 1 ZD5 as it will sound better and be matched for LR ZD5's if that's what you are using.

Give the sideways MTM idea the flick.

You can't make a center version that way. Also, note that the ZD5 crossover is a LR2 design, which means a matching horizontal MTM center is out of the question due to extremely narrow dispersion.

Have you already built LR ZD5s?
