Default HiVi F8 Specifications

Hi,

I'm curious about measurements I'm taking using a WT3. Anyone measure an F8?

Also, does anyone know the piston diameter of this speaker?

Thanks,
Peter

kaka2008,

Is linear excursion the same as piston diameter? Sorry if it's a silly question - I'm new...

No.

Piston diameter is close to the diameter of the cone; it has small corrections for the fraction of the surround that moves.

Linear excursion is how far the cone can move backwards and forwards without distortion.

PigletsDat,

Pretty much, include 1/3 of the surround as well.
