Hello & greetings to all forum members, as I am just a hobbyist and few minutes into membership. I am not versed in audio engineering.
I have a Sonus Faber Bookshelf Concerto circa 1999 or earlier edition that requires replacement tweeter/woofer. I checked probably the tweeter Seas 19 TFF model and woofer Scanspeak 18S but both no longer in production. The Xover is sealed with tar but understand is 1st order Xover design. I intend to use the cabinet which is a ported 15 litres and choose Scanspeak tweeter 8513 and woofer 8545. Does anyone has experiences in using the ProAc Clone 2.5 as a bookshelf model? (the clone uses 8535 woofer) Does anyone has Xover schematic for Concerto or Electra Amator? I am aware there was exchanges before on EM's schematic but not sure which right one or values. Or any recommendations for me? Many thanks for any help. |
