hi all im running my meridian 588-24 cd into a dbx 260 and feel it is a waste doing the da conversion in the cd then converting it back again in the dbx ,not to mention the converter in the cd would be heaps better than the one in the dbx ..my idea is to run digital straight from the meridian into the dbx and bypass the analoge to dig conversion in the dbx . any ideas?i could run jumper wires from the cd into the dbx and hook them in after the analoge to dig converter in the dbx so it is no longer used .i think this would be a big gain in terms of performance .im just not sure where to start

Maybe you could try the digital forum? Although many here in the loudspeaker forum might be able to help, it is not strictly the best place to ask.
