Default Airborne loudpspeakers?

Hello,
Has anyone heard anything about a speaker manufacturer called Airborne? I noticed a while ago that Solen has listed a handful of nice looking drivers under this name with exotic cone materials (wood, bamboo, carbon), however they are all on backorder, indicating to me that this is a new manufacturer and Solen has not received any stock yet.

http://www.solen.ca/pub/cms_nf_catalogue.php?man=39

I'd like to know more, if anyone has any information to share.

Thanks!

Interesting, so they may be Scandinavian drivers... And some different drivers on that page as well, including a couple full range drivers with neat-looking whizzer + plase plugs.

I say Scandinavia because the page you linked to says "GUI Sound Scandinavia" on it.

It does

I can see now that only some of the cones look alike, but chassis is clearly different ... chassis on the ones from Solen looks more like a ScanSpeak chassis

Well, many of the parts used by different companies are often standard products from the same supplier or many drivers drom different companies are manufactured on the same factory in Indonesia ore elsewhere
