I want to start building my diy project ,a BMTMB combination,using excellent drivers,dynamics,transparency,capable to play very loud.
Which driver do you suggest?I think of peerless HDS134,or 182.Are the scanspeaks 15w..,or 18w.. much better?:confused:
ANY commercial loudspeakers using these peerless units?I already know many using scanspeaks.

--BMTMB combination

Money is no object right:nod:

Here goes;

B = Lambda TD15H
M = PHL 2520 8" midrnage
T = SA8535 stage accompany planar (settle for Esg1)
M = PHL 2520 8" midrange
B = Lambda TD15H

Estimated cost US;

Two SA8535 tweeters = $1200
Four PHL 2520 midrange = $700
Two TD15H = $400 (apollo version $800)

$2300 / pair (apollo version $2700)

Money is an object:bigeyes:

If you heard one SA8535 + one PHL 2520 + one TD15H,
it would knock your socks off. It would sound like a live
performance provided that you give each driver some
power. This simple 3 way rules. Cost = $1950 / pair

Non Dr. Insano idea :cool:
