Crossover parts???

What is a good capacitor to youse??
I am currently yousing Audyn caps, people has told me, that it is the worst caps ever, so is there any body who would recommend some??? they are gonna be used in a 2 way, the tweeter is a vifa xt 25, bas/midrange is a a scan-speak revelator.

If you can afford to spend the dough, Clarity "SA" is about the best I've heard. If you don't want to go that far, the Solon caps are just about the standard for "High End" X-Overs.

I bought a 8.2uF Clarity cap and I think it was about $15.00. That same cap in Solon would be about $4.50.

Where can I get the Clarity from?? Does the Clarity has a special sound??

I have also been thinking on using Jensen caps, but they are very expencive, any body who knows if they are worth it??

Meniscus Audio - (www.meniscusaudio.com) is where I get all my Caps. Mark is a great guy and REALLY knows his stuff. I've been real happy with the Clarity caps. They seem to get out of the way more than others.

Try reading this article Your audyn caps are not bad, but of course you can find better ones. Eltek in Norway sells Mcaps and Mcap Supremes.
