Can a cone tweeter be "rebuilt"?? any known specialist??

I have quite a few pairs of speakers in need of "cone" tweeters.. but no replacement available. I have 6 pairs of Sonab OD-11, in need of Peerless CT-62 (and they are discontinued, I know) and a pair of very nice Sequerra Metronome 7, one blown tweeter.

No, I won't use dome tweeters. Since a woofer's voicecoil can be replaced, rewound or repaired.. isn't it a procedure that could applied to a cone tweeter??

If anyone knows some place to get these things rebuilt, I would greatly apreciate to get this info.

Desperate speaker owner.. he he.

Try Madisound or Mensiscus.

Madisound used to sell rebuild kits for some D-S-T tweeters.

What is Mensiscus? I tried in Google but didn't find anything related to speakers, or electronics. Oops.. just found Meniscus speakers.. I'll have a look.

As for Madisound, I asked for the Peerless CT-62 replacement, and they had nothing. I'll try again with repair kits.
