I was talking on another site about garage/shop speakers and decided to upload a picture of my TD15M with CD horn getting its almost daily bath from a mineral spirits parts washer:
![]() This speaker has also passed the following tests: "Sudden Florida monsoon rainstorm test" "Bake in the Florida sun all day test" "Oops I dropped it from the back of the truck test" "Let me paint a couple cars and overspray everything test" and last but not least "Who let the drunk idiot touch the volume knob test" |

Awesome!
But, how could the "open" gap survive the rainstorm? |

I'm afraid the worst that happens to my PB12's is that Mrs Cloth Ears (about once a month) tries to put the vacuum cleaner through one or other of them when doing the cleaning. Not so much as a scratch so far (and she does like them, honest)!
But, you have them at work??? What have you got at home at the moment?

I don't worry about them to be honest, I know the engineer/designer of them and if needed can fire up the magnet charger to build another one
