Most abused Lambda woofer and horn?

I was talking on another site about garage/shop speakers and decided to upload a picture of my TD15M with CD horn getting its almost daily bath from a mineral spirits parts washer:



This speaker has also passed the following tests:

"Sudden Florida monsoon rainstorm test"
"Bake in the Florida sun all day test"
"Oops I dropped it from the back of the truck test"
"Let me paint a couple cars and overspray everything test"

and last but not least

"Who let the drunk idiot touch the volume knob test"

But, how could the "open" gap survive the rainstorm?

I'm afraid the worst that happens to my PB12's is that Mrs Cloth Ears (about once a month) tries to put the vacuum cleaner through one or other of them when doing the cleaning. Not so much as a scratch so far (and she does like them, honest)!

But, you have them at work??? What have you got at home at the moment?

I don't worry about them to be honest, I know the engineer/designer of them and if needed can fire up the magnet charger to build another one
