Default Newbie Singer looking for a wedge monitor

Hello All!

My band and I just got started and so far I have been using a guitar amp to amplify my voice. The guitarists and the bass player have to cover up the drums but I am left behind. Anyone can recommend a good, cheap and cheerful wedge monitor powerful enough so I can hear myself singing finally!?

Thank you in advance.

Probably not the place to post this question... unless you're looking to DIY your own wegde.

I've used the Mackie SRM450 as powered wedges in the past, and they will keep up with whatever else you've got on stage....
