So nice!
I was always weary of linkwitz going from an 8" to a tweeter crossed at 1400.
I'm sure these have a great polar response.
I would mount a rear tweeter and use some foam to damp the rear firing highs, just enough to let the dipole cancellation take effect around the baffle. Of course they would have to be crossed slightly lower with a steap slope.

Default New LinkwitzLab speakers?

What seems to be new dipoles from SL as posted in HTGuide. I'm very keen to read more details.

It seems the objective is to push uniformity to higher frequency.

They might not be pretty, but they sound great (only one currently built, still prototyping).

Default desk top OB

they sound real good, need a bit of power though.
my 1.5W SE tube amp does not do the job.
The other one is an OB line array in steel.

Wait till you see the NaO Note II.

It has the same upper mid but uses a single Scanspeak Discovery 22W/8534G for the lower mid with a single, front firing tweeter. (Yes, above the uppermid cut off there doesn't seem to be any need for a rear tweeter, though that may change.)
