Ultimate Open Baffle Gallery

My OBs in post #130 has developed/degenerated into a hybrid system with OB mid/high and closed bass boxes.
Not that I don´t like dipole bass but i didn´t get it to work well in my small room, couldn´t place the speakers much more than 2 feet from the wall.
Open baffle works fairly well from ~150Hz and up thanks to a massive effort in "taming" the acoustics of the room, below that I use active bass absorption.

I was just wondering what the bass output pattern was on something like these.. and what would happen if you turned the bass units sideways ie one woofer firing either side of the speaker, with the opening towards the front and the back.
Then use say a 6" hi-eff Beyma + horm tweeter OB above that.
Just thinking that you could then use depth to get the width required for the OB bass, without having to make the speaker all that wide.
