Hi -
I am wondering if a notch filter is necessary for a 3" single driver center channel application, considering the human voice doesn't reach anywhere near the breakup frequencies of the drivers considered: http://www.madisound.com/catalog/PDF/830986.pdf Or, perhaps an inductor above the voice range but well below the breakup, just to roll of the response some? Anything I'm missing? (I usually am.

Well for 5.1 HT etc. yes it is primarily the voice channel. I'm sure not purely but mostly. For a music channel/music listening I would definitely filter but for HT I'm not a purist.
There is probably little enough info in the CC speaker other than voice that I'm thinking it would be insignificant in the breakup regions of these speakers, especially the Peerless as it's higher up than the Hi Vi. The Aura 3" is even higher but these are out of stock at Madisound, along with all their other small drivers, otherwise I'd consider it.
