What would be the result of cornerloading the terminus of a transmission line?
It seems to me that if only the lowest frequencies escape the terminus, then corner loading the end of the line would add some boost to the lowest frequencies, and also perhaps provide some added resistance to the line? Any thoughts? James |

Well, funny you mentioned this. I have been playing with this all week. Results I find to be good and bad. The good...more output, the bad...slightly "looser" bottom end, though this may be the actual room resenating (spelling). Have to play with it some more, almost as much adjustment as Electrostatic spks. Slight movement can really change the sound.

Love to see them.

Single 10' Car Audio Sub (ALpine, Type-S) This thing plays low. I'll get some pics of it in my listening room, just have to remember to bring home a digital camera. |
