I am new at audio and would appreciate some advice.
I am building a battery powered speaker. The amp will work with 4 and 8 ohm speakers. Can I use a 4 ohm on one channel and an 8 ohm on the other? Thanks, Carl |

For the same volume setting, the 4 ohm side will be taking 2 watts from the amp for each watt the 8 ohm side takes.
The 4 ohm will also be slightly, (3 dB) louder. If that doesn't bother you, I see no reason you can't do it.
