Vifa XT25 ($54) slightly more distortion then Vifa DX25
Dayton RS28A4 ($47) slightly worst distortion then the Vifa XT25
Seas 29TFFW ($32) almost gets to 1000hz, slightly better distortion then Vifa DX25
Vifa DX25 ($26)

Lot to ask
Very few tweeters can go down this low. There are a couple out there, but the excursion demands of sub-1kHz performance are so high as to cause a lot of distortion products run this low. You're better to use either a dedicated upper mid into a tweeter, or a single, widerange driver (fostex ff85k springs to mind, I'm currently running it as a midtweet and am pretty darn happy, first order series XO @ 500Hz)
Check out the 2-3" fullrangers avaialable from tang band at parts express. Good value drivers. The HiVi B3s is recommended by John Zaph Krutke, with good performance, but needs a notch filter in the top octave AND is EXTREMELY insensitive.

I am looking for a tweeter that can go down under 1000Hz.
Has somebody any info?

Check Davis Acoustics, maybe that's what you want.

The problem is that you will have to pay for that extension in parameters. CD, ribbon or other (cone, dome).

Assuming Aura ever recovers from their production/supply problems and gets these back in stock for dealers:

Look up the Pluto from Linkwitz Labs or whatever... these have a big drop around 15kHz, and everyone will have an opinion as to how meaningful that issue really is. They are not the most effecient things, but handle power well. I am working on some design concepts that incorporate 4 run together from 500Hz on up or if power handling becomes tough down that low, then 800Hz on up. I for one happen to buy into the anecdotal evidence to be found on the web and in some audio shops that the original Jordan array of four drivers defied theory and sounded just fine (similar size driver and frame regarding c-t-c spacing on a vertical line, but they did go much higher, for much more money of course), so I am going to give it a try myself and see what happens... if I can ever get my hands on these tweeters.

Re: Lot to ask
The Fostex FF85k is a killer mid-tweeter. Specs to 32k, i can get 100 Hz 1 W before xMax sets in.
I think of it as a 3/4" dome with a big surround.

The good old ScanSpeak 3806 could do it no problem. And sound great, too.
But the price has gone thru the roof. Too bad, great driver.

Thanks to everybody for the valuable infos!
Now I have to study the datasheets.
My plan is that I build a 2 way loudspeaker with a 25cm woofer and tweeter (xover around 1000Hz) and an "1.5way" loudspeaker also with this woofer but with a 3-4" fullrange driver.
I would like to compare both and hear and observe which type is better for my ears.
I think the second variation will be better and something similar like the TAD Reference One. I mean over 100Hz ther is only one speaker.
Thanks again!

The SCAN SPEAK D3004_660000 (fs=520Hz)($200/420€???, 183€) also seems like a serious contender on paper.

As you go, tell us about what your main factors and weights for the final decision will be, like price, output, accuracy, extension in frequency, size/weight, fs, impedance, power(W), membrane size, aesthetics, materials (textile, alu, ceramic) etc.

Look here for experiments with ribbons down to 200Hz.
