my VOTT's aren't quite loud enough...

...just kidding! But really, they are too nice to hammer on, so I thought I might build some big *** full-range speakers for the shop. What do y'all think of a WMTMW with these parts express stuff? motor run caps in the x-over. should absorb 400wrms fine and be close to 92dB 1w/1m 9ft3 sealed, series wired for 8W nominal

295-470 - Dayton DCS380-4 Classic 15" Subwoofer 4 Ohm

277-030 - Morel MDT-20 1-1/8" Soft Dome Tweeter

091-1245 - Dayton BPA-38G HD Binding Post Pair Gold

255-824 - Jantzen 5.6mH 14 AWG C-Coil Toroidal Inductor

255-666 - Jantzen 0.39mH 14 AWG Copper Foil Inductor

255-670 - Jantzen 0.50mH 14 AWG Copper Foil Inductor

299-162 - Alesis 6-1/2" Poly Cone Woofer

i paid $12/ea. for the mids(seem more robust), $63/ea. for the woofs (better fs and xmax), don't like metal domes.

that amp is a screaming good deal, no doubt

power is not an issue
