Default I know they are new, but has anyone used/heard the new TB tweeters

They look interesting. A beryllium and ceramic dome and a new ribbon from Tang Band just came out on the Parts Express website.

Hoping someone had a chance to listen to them.

Edit: nevermind just saw that they aren't even in stock yet.

So what are the thoughts of them?

Looks like they won't be in stock until the middle of July?

Prices are kind of high on some of them.

It seems like you can never trust Tang Band's measurements, they seem to be made by the marketing department and not by engineers.

Some might be good, some of Tang Band's speakers are good.

I'd like to try some too. Buying drivers just to "try" them is an expensive hobby, alas.

I agree, the impedance plots do not bode well. (haha get it? bode? no? nevermind...)

I am more interested in the new Vifa tweeters Zaph is testing: http://www.zaphaudio.com/blog.html

Vifa is getting more value oriented, while TB is getting more expensive.

Regards,
David
